Using Your Ocean Prime eGift and Traditional Gift Cards

Do Ocean Prime Restaurant eGift and traditional gift cards have an expiration date?

No. Ocean Prime Restaurant eGift and traditional gift cards never expire and they do not have any maintenance or non-usage fees. Your gift card will retain its full value until it is used.

Why does it take 24-hours to activate an eGift Card?

Our Guest payment information and security are important to us, just like our traditional gift cards, all orders are processed and eGift Cards are activated the following business day to ensure the security of your transaction.

Are there any non-usage fees if I don’t use the gift card right away?

There are no maintenance or non-usage fees on our eGift and traditional gift cards. Your gift card will retain its full value until it is used. Even if you use your gift card and have a remaining balance available, that balance will remain intact until it is used again.

How do I check the balance of my gift card?

You can check your gift card balance by clicking here or by calling our gift card department team at 1-877-491-1267 Monday - Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm Eastern Time.

If I don’t use the full balance of my gift card what will happen?

If you do not use the full value of your gift card in one visit the remaining balance will stay on your card until you use your card on your next visit to a Ocean Prime Restaurant.

Do you have eCards?

Yes! Effective Thursday, August 17th, we will offer eGift cards. These cards are treated exactly like our traditional plastic card, but they are emailed to the recipient and activated the following business day. There are no fees for this service.

Is it possible to reload my gift card?

Yes, you can reload your gift card at any Ocean Prime Restaurant or by calling our gift card department team Monday - Friday from 9:30am - 4:30pm Eastern Time at 1-877-491-1267.

Where are Ocean Prime Restaurants eGift and traditional gift cards valid?

You can use your gift card at any Ocean Prime Restaurant location. Please click here for a full list of Ocean Prime Restaurants.

What does the M logo stand for on the back of my gift card?

The M logo represents our restaurant called M which is located at Miranova in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Is it possible to use more than one gift card at a time?

Yes, you can use as many Ocean Prime Restaurants eGift and traditional gift cards as you would like at a time.

Am I able to use my gift card towards tax and gratuity?

Yes, our eGift and traditional gift cards (but not our complimentary cards or holiday bonus cards) can be used towards both tax and gratuity.

Am I able to use my gift card towards private business parties or catering events?

Unfortunately, eGift and traditional gift cards are not valid as payment for private business events at our restaurants or for catering services.

May I use my gift card at the Columbus Museum of Art or At Schokko?

Unfortunately, our eGift and traditional gift cards are not redeemable at these locations.

Is it possible to have my gift card replaced if it is lost or stolen?

Unfortunately we cannot replace your card if lost or stolen unless you can provide us with your gift card number and/or proof of purchase.

How are the eGift and traditional gift cards packaged?

eGift Cards are emailed and must be presented in printed format or on your mobile device at the restaurant for redemption.

eGift and traditional gift cards purchased at our restaurants are presented in a 3.5" x 5" Ocean Prime Restaurant gift card sleeve with room for a message to the recipient.

eGift and traditional gift cards purchased online or through our corporate offices are mailed in a 8.5" x 11" Ocean Prime Restaurant gift card sleeve that features space for a customized message.

What denominations do gift cards come in?

eGift card may be purchased in increments of $25, up to $100 per card, $100 per order. Traditional gift cards may be purchased in increments of $25.

May I order a gift card on-line and pick it up at my local retail store?

Please contact our Gift Card Department team at 1 (877) 491.1267 Monday - Friday 9:30am - 4:30pm Eastern Time to arrange pick-up or please feel free to use our eGift card option for next day delivery.

Can I change the dollar amount on the gift card?

Once your transaction is complete, the amount is set and cannot be changed. However, you may contact our Gift Card Department team to assist further.

Complimentary gift card and holiday bonus card questions

What is the difference between a complimentary gift card and holiday bonus card versus a standard cash gift card?

Ocean Prime Restaurants complimentary eGift and traditional gift cards and holiday bonus cards are promotional cards given to our guests. Because they are promotional they do not have a cash value and have certain use restrictions attached to them, please see below for restrictions.

What are the restrictions on your eGift and traditional gift cards?

Do complimentary eGift and traditional gift cards have an expiration date?

No, our complimentary eGift and traditional gift cards never expire.

Do holiday bonus cards have an expiration date?

Holiday bonus cards do have an expiration date listed on the back of the gift card.

Is there anything I can do with my holiday bonus card if it has expired?

Can I use more than one complimentary card or holiday bonus card at a time?

Yes. You can use more than one complimentary OR bonus card at a time, however, not together.

Can I use a complimentary gift card, a bonus card and/or a cash card at the same time?

Cash and complimentary cards may be used at the same time, cash and bonus cards may be used at the same time. However, complimentary and bonus cards may not.

  • PO Box delivery is available only via standard mail (USPS). PO Box shipping is not available via FedEx
  • We are unable to track standard mail (USPS) shipments
